Four weeks to go!

We have only four weeks to go!
The house is now more or less finished, our visas have been approved, Jess is now stationed at my parents so things are starting to get sorted. I think the hardest thing has been handing Jess over - But I gave her a little pep talk and we now have an understanding that we'll definitely be back for her :o)
Bev and I have two more weeks of work and then we will be unemployed - Argh!
We now have to find someone to rent our house, and start sorting out our stuff for storage.
We got the carpet down in our house last week, which makes such a huge difference to the whole feel of the house - not to mention the great new carpet smell - the house is going to be another thing that is hard to leave.

We are starting to regret our decision to leave in September now, as summer starts to creep towards the southern hemisphere, but never mind we will just have to go somewhere exciting at Christmas - maybe a greek island or spain or something.

Bev and I went to stag and hen party's respectively on Saturday night, and on Sunday we got some lunch at McD's on our way home from Akld and this Maori lady served us at the drive through and saw the left-over alcohol in the back seat from the Hen's cocktail night, and she goes "Youse have a party?" We're so going to miss Kiwi England!
